Alden Rehab Centers in Chicago Selected to Participate in National Patient Outcome Improvement Study — (July 12, 2012) Acrobat pdf file
Just two rehab centers on Chicago’s north/northwest side – Alden Lakeland and Alden Lincoln Park – have been selected by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) to participate in an innovative, multi-state study aimed at improving patient care. The study evaluates the effect of a standardized training program for newly licensed nurses on patient safety and quality outcomes.

While children were home from school this past Monday in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, nearly two dozen seniors at Alden Lincoln Park Rehabilitation and Health Care Center were busy working on a service project. The seniors made fleece baby blankets and burp cloths throughout the day, which they are donating to Women, Infants, Children (WIC).
